The Sparkly Village Framework🌿✨

Sparkly Village creates safe, supportive environments where young people learn emotional resilience, life skills, and confidence through community, nature, and practical experiences.

Inspired by best practice in child wellbeing and community care, we aim to create environments where young people can develop emotional resilience, life skills - including desperately in need of employability skills, and a sense of belonging.

1. Safety and safeguarding

All activities prioritise the safety and wellbeing of young people.

Sparkly Villages works in alignment with safeguarding standards and appropriate professional guidance.

2. Emotional regulation and calm spaces

Young people are supported to learn practical ways to return to calm after stress.

Activities may include:

  • exploring spaces around us that will help us grow

  • relaxation practices

  • nature connection

3. Strength-based development

Sparkly Village focuses on helping young people discover and develop their strengths, rather than focusing only on difficulties

7. Collaboration with professionals
